GV Hotel Terms and Conditions

I.                    Applicability, Usage & Express Consent

a.      Usage of this website and our hotels is conditioned on your acceptance of the terms and conditions set out, which GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph may vary from time to time at its sole discretion with or without notice.

b.      The usage of this website and our hotels constitutes your express consent to all the terms and conditions as stated.

II.                  Bookings

a.      Reservations System

                                                  i.      For Advance Bookings - All room bookings, changes, cancellations, or inquiries can only be made either on-line at www.gvhotels.com.ph, or through phone, or through the Front Office of the respective GV Hotel, subject to existing conditions which are hereinafter provided.

                                                ii.      For Same-day / Walk-in Bookings – Room bookings can be made upon walk-in at the Front Office of GV hotel.

b.      Payment

                                                  i.      Full Payment must be made at the time of booking.

                                                ii.      For Online Bookings – Payment may be made by:

1.      Credit Cards – any Visa or Mastercard

2.      Online Electronic Banking via Dragonpay.ph.

3.      Over the Counter Bank Payment / Bank Deposit via Dragonpay.ph.

4.      Over the Counter Non-Bank Payment / Remittance via Dragonpay.ph.

                                              iii.      For Walk-in Bookings, Payment may be made by Credit Card or Cash Only. Check is not an acceptable mode of payment.

                                               iv.      GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph operates on a Pay as you Check-in or Reserve Policy. Full Payment of all charges must be made upon booking of any reservation to

                                                 v.      Official Receipt for the entire amount paid will be issued upon check-in. Guests are required to demand from the front desk their Official Receipt. And report to GV Hotel Management, any discrepancies therein.

c.       Confirmation

                                                  i.      Bookings shall be considered Confirmed and Guaranteed upon the issuance of a Booking Confirmation Number (BCN), which shall be sent to the email registered with GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph

                                                ii.      All Charges must be paid in full before we issue a Booking Confirmation Number (BCN). In the Event that we issue a Booking Confirmation Number (BCN) for a booking which has not been paid in full, we reserve the right to cancel the booking prior to check-in or to disallow you to use our facilities, with or without notice.

                                              iii.      Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse your reservations booking if in the exercise of our reasonable discretion we determine that the payment of your reservations booking has been done fraudulently or unlawfully.

d.      Identification Requirements

                                                  i.      Booking for yourself - We require all Guests checking in to the Hotel to present at least one valid Government or Company Identification Card with Picture. To avoid any inconvenience, kindly bring with you the Credit Card used to pay for your booking.

                                                ii.      If you are booking for another person – Kindly give a photocopy of your ID and Credit Card to the Third Person who will be availing of our facilities.

                                              iii.      Additionally, Foreign Guests will be required to present their Passports for verification.

e.      Personal Information

                                                  i.      Upon Check-in you will be required to provide personal information which will form part of our file and shall be stored in your Guest Profile/Account.

f.        Room Hold / Effectivity of Reservation

                                                  i.      The room allocated to you will be reserved, from 2:00pm of the Expected Date of Check-in until 4:59AM of the Day following. After which your entire booking will be deemed cancelled and your payments will be forfeited in favor of GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph.

g.      Rebookings

                                            i.      Changes in booking details such as but not limited to change in name, date, number of rooms, number of nights are allowed provided that applicable charges are paid, and subject to the following conditions:

1.      All changes shall be made at least 48 hours before 2:00PM of your scheduled check-in date.

2.      GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph shall charge Php200 for every change in booking details per change (VAT-Exclusive).

3.      You may make the changes via gvhotels.com.ph.

4.      Special Promotional Rates cannot be changed.

5.      Any change shall be confirmed and accepted only upon full payment of the applicable charges.

h.      Cancellations

                                                  i.      GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph allows cancellations subject to cancellation, provided that applicable charges are paid and subject to the following conditions on paragraph G

1.      Any Cancellation shall be made at least 48 hours before 2:00PM of your scheduled check-in date.

2.      GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph shall charge Php200 for the cancellation (VAT-Exclusive).

3.      Bookings on Promotional/Discounted Rates cannot be cancelled.

i.        Refunds

                                                  i.      Payments made to GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph are nonrefundable.

j.        Extension of Stay

                                                  i.      All requests for extension must be made to the Front Desk at least 24 hours prior to your expected check-out date.

                                                ii.      Any extensions shall be subject to availability of rooms and, the prevailing rate of the day shall be applicable.

                                              iii.      Payment shall also be made upon request to confirm and guarantee the extension.

k.       Check-out

                                                  i.      Guests are required to check-out at 12:00NN of the scheduled check-out date.

l.        Room Availability

                                                  i.      GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph does not practice overbooking of rooms to minimize unavailable rooms for guests.

                                                ii.      But should a Paid & Reserved Room be unavailable, Guests hereby consent:

1.      To be assigned a room of the same class but of different bed configuration.

2.      Or to be upgraded to the next higher room classification, without any additional charge, #1 or #2 at the discretion of GV Hotel Group/ gvhotels.com.ph.

                                              iii.      However should there be no available rooms of the same or higher classification, but a room of lower classification, the guest shall be transferred on the available room, and shall be reimbursed of the difference.

III.                Check-in and Check-out Times

a.      Check in Time is from 2:00PM of the scheduled check-in date until 4:00AM of the date following.

b.      Early Check-in, is from 6:00AM to 1:59PM of the scheduled check-in date, this is subject to availability, not guaranteed, and is free of charge.

c.       Check-out Time is strictly at 12:00NN of the scheduled check-out date.

                                                  i.      If after 12:00NN the guest fails to check-out for whatever reason GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph reserves the right to:

1.      Automatically extend the stay of the guest for an additional one (1) night if the room is available with a corresponding charges based on real time and current room rate for the day without further notice to the guest/s; or

2.      Remove all belongings found inside the room and store the same in the luggage room with corresponding charges without further notice to the guest/s.

 

The guest hereby waives any and all of his rights and claims as against GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph or any of its officers, staffs and employees as a result of such removal and for any loss and/or damage to any and all belongings by reason of such removal.

d.      Daily Room Cleaning - is from 8:00AM to 6:00PM, should the housekeeping staff be unable to enter your room, it will be cleaned the following day.

e.      No Smoking Policy

                                                  i.      GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph operates all smoke-free Hotels.

IV.               Prohibited Items

a.      Any illegal, prohibited or regulated drugs, flammable liquid, bio hazard, heavy machinery;

b.      any electronic/electrical appliances

c.       pets, livestock;

d.      any kitchen utensils for cooking purposes;

e.      firearm and ammunition, and any other deadly weapons;

f.        explosives, flammable or non-inflammable gas (such as aerosol paints, butane gas, lighter refills) refrigerated gas (such as filled aqualung cylinders, liquid nitrogen), flammable liquids(such as paints, thinners, solvents), flammable solids, organic peroxides (such as resins), poisons, infective substances (such as viruses, bacteria), radioactive material (such as radium), corrosive materials (such as acid, alkali, mercury, magnetic substances, oxidizing materials (such as bleaches);

g.      Any other item/s which, according to GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph, may disrupt directly or indirectly our hotel operation or interrupt other guests’ stay and/or are likely to endanger the persons or property in our hotel.

V.                 Right to Refuse Accommodation

a.      We reserve the right to refuse accommodation/check-in or to terminate your booking or stop any event immediately without any notice to you and without incurring any liability to you and without having to refund or compensate you for any charges paid under the following circumstances where:

                                                  i.      You fail to have proper identification, fail to identify yourself to the reasonable satisfaction of our staff or present upon our request the proper documents and permits necessary for your stay as indicated herein;

                                                ii.      You have not fully paid any and all charges due to us;

                                              iii.      You exhibited violent behavior or caused disturbance at our facility or have abused our staff or other guests whether physically or verbally;

                                               iv.      The Government or other authorities prohibits you from checking in at our facilities for any reason;

                                                 v.      In our judgment, you are not fit to stay in our facility due to drunkenness or you are under the influence of prohibited drugs or your medication has impaired your judgment, mobility or consciousness or your acts could compromise the safety and/or comfort of our staff and other guests;

                                               vi.      The payment of your room rate is fraudulent (i.e. using a fraudulent credit card), the credit card by which you paid for the rate has been reported lost or stolen;

                                             vii.      You have committed or suspected to have committed unlawful acts.

 

b.      Unaccompanied Minor - Children below 18 years old will not be accepted unless they are accompanied by his or her parents or legitimate guardians as defined under Philippine laws.

VI.               Security

a.      You shall voluntarily submit to any security or health checks by us. You likewise authorize our hotel staff to enter your room to prevent the commission of any crime or offense.

VII.             Conduct in our Facilities

a.       If in our reasonable opinion, you conduct yourself in a manner that endangers any person or property, or obstructs or hinders the staff in the performance of their duties, or you fail to comply with any instruction of our staff including but not limited to prohibitions with respect to smoking, consumption of alcohol, or you use any threatening, abusive or insulting words towards our staff or you behave in a manner that causes discomfort, inconvenience, damage or injury to other guest/s, we have the right to take and perform such measures as we deem reasonably necessary to prevent the perpetration of such conduct. You may be refused entry to our premises and/ or requested to leave and may be prosecuted for offenses committed in our facilities.

 

VIII.           Limited Liability

a.      We do not guarantee your safety against accidents, death, acts of God, flood, riot, theft, or even acts of negligence and all activities that have inherent risks to health and safety.

b.      We reserve the right to retain your credit card details and you consent to us debiting such amounts which you are responsible for as a result of your or your guest(s) stay in the hotel and in the event of damages you or your guest(s) caused to the room. these amounts may be debited from your card without prior notification and you expressly agree to use debit and charges.

c.       We shall not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage to your property during your stay in our hotel. We have no responsibility for any property left behind and/or damaged as a result of your stay in our hotel.

d.      You are advised to obtain personal insurance to cover curtailment, and loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injuries and money/valuable belongings while in the Philippines.

e.      The laws of the Philippines shall apply to the GV Hotel Group/gvhotels.com.ph website and the terms & conditions therein and court proceedings relating thereto may only be commenced in Cebu City, Philippines.

f.        Statutory requirements: the hotel is subject to statutory controls, including those relating to fire, health, hygiene and safety. These requirements must be strictly observed by you, your guests, and visitors at all times throughout your stay at the hotel.

IX.                Data Protection & Disclosure

                                                  i.      We will retain all personal information which you provide during booking.

                                                ii.      We may need to pass this information to other parties such as our licensees and/ or affiliated companies; to security and/or credit checking companies, credit and debit card companies, government and enforcement agencies and public authorities if so required, or as required by law.

                                              iii.      We shall not be held liable for such acts of disclosure; and that any disclosure by us of the information you have given to us will not render us liable for any and all claims, losses, damages or liability whatsoever.
